The 500 Dutch and British tourists from the yachts that dropped anchor at Kıyıkışlacık first went for a swim, then went sightseeing in the antique city of Iasos and the village of Kıyıkışlacık.

In the evening, the tourists gathered in Kıyıkışlacık to participate in an event organized by the chief and elders of the village.

The tourists, very pleased at being met by the local authority of Milas, expressed the wish for the continuation of this practice in coming years.

Milas Assistant Governor M. Bahattin Atçı said that next year the event would be organized by the Assistant Governancy of Milas, The City Council of Güllük and the Milas Chamber of Trade and Industry, and that it would be a richer event. Assistant Governor Atcı, declaring that they would continue to do everything to ensure that the tourists went home happy, chatted, together with his wife, with the tourists throughout the evening.

Güllük Mayor M. Yavuz Demir, emphasizing that Kıyıkışlacık, which lies within the boundaries of Güllük, was developing and growing day by day, said that events and organizations like this were a big contribution to promoting Milas.

Another person to chat to the tourists all evening was Milas Chamber of Trade and Industry Board Chairman Nazmi Doğru.
