The “International Painting Olympics”, organized by Sultans Aquapark as part of the 23 April National Sovereignty and Children”s Holiday activities, took off to a good start. Sultan Aquapark also started off the season with the painting olympics in which children from 12 countries and 60 students participated. Famous painter Ali Riza Başarır, jury chairman of the olympics, gave painting tips to the children while walking around dressed as Caesar, carrying the Olympic torch. Sponsor firms provided the materials for the painting competition, which attracted some very young participants, and students whose art were found to be worthy of a place received gifts.
The winning students are:
1st Place: Altar Yalçın (Karagedik Primary Education School)
2nd Place: Gökçe Öksüz (Central Atatürk Karagedik Primary Education School)
3rd Place: Barış Yaşar (Yunus Nadi Karagedik Primary Education School)
