The number of foreigners who have settled in Mediterranean city of Antalya -- the locomotive of tourism in Turkey-- has reached 13,225.
Foreigners have either bought houses in Antalya or prolonged their stay and vacation in this city. Some of them have married Turkish citizens and started to live in this Mediterranean city.
According to data of Antalya Police Department, 2,745 of the foreigners who have settled in Antalya are German nationals.
The German are followed by the Russians. 1,640 Russians have decided to reside in Antalya. They are followed by Danish, Ukrainian, British, Dutch, Polish, Azerbaijani, Kazakh and Kyrgyz citizens.
A total of 718 Britons are residing in and around Antalya, while the number of U.S. citizens living in the vicinity is 87.
According to authorities, 1,745 foreigners have married Turkish citizens in Antalya and its vicinity.
