Inspection for the Seaport

Two inspectors from the Maritime Under secretariat inspected Fethiye dock for suitability for international shipping. During the studies lasting until noon yesterday, issues such as fire precautions, lighting, wireless connections, personnel training were taken into consideration. The expert team, meeting Port Manager Murat Yıldız, agreed to having their photos taken, but would not give information on the results of their inspection. If a positive result is obtained from the inspection initialized on the application of the Fethiye Council to the Maritime Under secretariat to re-obtain the International Shipping and Port Facilities Safety Code (ISPS) which was annulled last year, ships flying international flags will be able to berth at Fethiye Port.
