Head of assocation of inner fishery protucts (ground pool fish farming), Sedat Zincir explained that their first aim is to introduce ground pool fish farming to the world.
The head ofAssocation of inner fishery protucts (ground pool fish farming), Sedat Zencir who told that it has 10 years past old and their first aim is to introduce the ground pool fish farming to the world.
Zencir said that other aims of Assocation are to elicit to take their own rights of the establishments who do the fish farming, taking the costs of tablets and foods and prices of fish until reaching the people who buys them down.
There are more than 2000 ground pool fish farming and 125 of them are active and for others, authorization process is going on. Each establishment makes 40 tons fish product a year and produced fish taste is much nicer than the sea fish.
Zencir followed his speech like this about the subject; “ At the ground pool fish farming which is made as fresh water fishery, mostly Gilt head bream and Sea bass are produced. At the moment, we do our sellings to Aegean Area especially İzmir whole sellers. By assocation helping, we will establish selling points in Akara and Adana. We will introduce ground pool fish farming to other places in Turkey and Abroad. At the previous time, there were less production and because of that, selling to abroad couldn”t be done. But now, there is much more production and we will start to export next year.”
He said that ground pool fish farming is done just in Turkey, Greece and Italy in all over the world and plan to built a place which people can touch and see the fish when they are buying or eaiting in the town.
