International Utrecht Tourism Fair which is the biggest tourism fair in Holland and got very important place at the holiday choise of Dutches has ended. Head of Fethiye district and Fethiye commission M.Ali KARATEKELI, the manager of Fethiye tourism information Burhan COŞKUN, Association of Fethiye Touristic Hotel Enterprises Yavuz TORUNOĞULLARI and tourism businessman joined the fair and Van HOOIJDONG from Fenerbahçe football team told that he supported Fethiye on Fethiye desk. 2008 summer season is waited hopefully at the end of this fair which Holland Ammbassador and Tourism Ministry Undersecretaries have visited. The fair which is 27th went on 5 days. Besides, the head of Fethiye district M. Ali KARATEKELİ told that this international Utricht tourism fair carries weight so much for tourism potential of our town and went on successfully for us. And he had a meeting with the manager of Fethiye tourism information Burhan COŞKUN, Association of Fethiye Touristic Hotel Enterprises Yavuz TORUNOĞULLARI to consider the fair. KARATEKELI told “environs tax which has done by Holland government will show its effect to our tourism in the following days. They put €45 environs tax to the tickets whose poeple want to flay more than 2500kms. This decision has approved by Holland Government. We have to to serious studies about this. But, Any decrease in our reservations will not happen in 2008 tourism. We represented as well as possible as attornies our town.” And Association of Fethiye Touristic Hotel Enterprises Yavuz TORUNOĞULLARI who gave an explanation in behalf of sector attornies told that “there is %35 rising in January and %15 rising generally than 2005 year in tourist number. Our main subject will be environment information in 2009 like what our head of district. We must to studies about this subject. Especially, we will try to bring much more tourist to our town by studying of the different methods which foreign flight companies. The tourist number was 1 millon in 2005 and it bacame 1.600 in 2007. that shows us the effects of the fairs where we joined.”
