It is informed that the number of forign tourist who came Turkey by airway and seaway in 11 months of this year in Muğla region which has important touristic resorts of our country reached to 2 million 647 thousand 063.
Muğla Governor Lütfi YIGENOGLU explained that the number of foreign tourists who came by airway and seaway to Muğla region which has important touristic resorts like Marmaris, Bodrum, Fethiye has reached to 2 millions 647 thousand 063 by rising up %9 than last year.
There was the tourist entrance as 2 millions 423 thousand and 249 by airway and seaway at the same time of the year and 2 millions 429 thousand and 023 tourists came in whole last year.
It is informed in writting explanation of Governor YIGENOGLU:
“1 million 311 thousand 940 of tourist from Dalaman Airport and 919 thousand 524 of tourist from Milas-Bodrum Airport landed. Totally, 2 million 231 thousand 464 tourist came to the region by airway and 415 thousand 5"99 tourist came to the region by seaway with Marmaris, Bodrum, Fethiye, Datça, Güllük, Turgutreis and Yalıkavak ports in 11 months of the year. 18 thousand 811 of tourists entered to the region just in May. Predence of English tourists goes on among the foreign tourists who came to the region by airway and seaway like last years.”
ENGLISH TOURISTS ARE THE FIRST...
English tourists are the first with 1 million 183 thousand and 397 people among the foreign tourists who came to the region in 11 months of the year. Second one is Holland with 239 thousand 328 people, third one is Germans with 200 thousand 264 people, Belgium is the fourth with 132 thousand 220 people and Russians are the fifth with 127 thousand 613 people.
Totally 243 thousand beds which are 170 thousand of them with the touristic licance give service in Muğla region.
