Debboy, one of the loveliest corners of Fethiye, is on the way to becoming our pride and joy. The project, on hold for quite a few years, is finally being brought to life. The company started working at the beginning of 2008, and realized considerable progress in a short time.
Just imagine the joy Kale Park Restaurant and Cafe Bar, in full accord with nature, and with Fethiye spread before your eyes, will bring into your life when it opens at the beginning of May.
We had an interview with the master of this project, Yunus Önver, and found out some facts about the project for you. Yunus Önver is from Fethiye, he was born in 1960 in Gölbent village. He is a real nature volunteer who has served as paramedic with the Ministry of Health, and as assistant manager at the state hospital. Yunus Önver, who wants to spend his retirement years with projects that will keep him in close touch with nature, has also done quite a bit of farming over the years. The Debboy Project is the result of years of serious searching. When asked about his thoughts on the project, Yunus Önver said, “We wanted to create a place where we could be happy serving the people of Fethiye, and our guests from Turkey and abroad. To this end, we did not shirk from any investment. As we realized our investment, we didn”t lose our amateur enthusiasm. We talked to everybody, spent a great deal of time investigating. Because we wanted to embrace everyone, and to share this very special corner of Fethiye with everyone,” and emphasized the importance this project holds for him.
“We shall organize antique nights, concerts, live music evenings here. Our capacity is suitable to seat 1200-1500 persons during the summer. We “want to be with you on nights you will forget to go back”,” said Yunus Önver, and concluded, “Fethiye has many beautiful aspects to share with guests from Turkey and abroad. But from now on, Debboy is the candidate for your intervals of untold enchantment!”
And we say, the flavor of all four seasons should be synonymous with Debboy.
