INTRODUCTION
HALCYON DAYS HOTEL Halcyon Days is a family run boutique pension, English owned and built, situated in Ovacik Turkey. It caters to guests wanting a truly personal hotel experience with all the comforts of a home-away-from home. The owners offer a warm and friendly welcome and will always endeavour to meet your needs and ensure your holiday experience is an enjoyable one. Rooms are on a B&B basis.

ROOMS
All rooms are tastefully decorated and have plenty of space. There are 11 rooms in total and all have en-suite, air-conditioning, hairdryers and safety deposit boxes as standard. There are spacious balconies to nine rooms but none to the three family rooms for added safety. Two of the rooms are disabled friendly and have all the aids to enable a disabled person to enjoy their surroundings. Water coolers are in all rooms. Water can be purchased at reception for these. |
FACILITIES & SERVICE
The swimming pools are well sized and and cater for a range of swimming abilities. The main pool as a shallow end which slopes to a sensible depth for the more accomplished swimmer. There is a dip pool for the non swimmers and children who wear buoyancy aids. These are situated in ample gardens, along side a tastefully designed bar and restaurant. We have a 24 hour reception if you require and provide a children’s room with activities introduced by a qualified nursery nurse. In the grounds is a large gazebo for you to relax and enjoy the views of babadag mountain. |
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Breakfast includes a full English or Turkish breakfast. Snacks or meals of the extensive menu can be purchased at a very reasonable price in a stylish restaurant that is open all day. Midnight soup is available free of charge. Beverage’s are available from the hotel bar and include local beers and wines, imported spirits and soft drinks. Tea and Coffee are also available |
FOR CHILDREN
Children are catered for in the hotel menu and there is also a children’s parke which offers the opportunity for your child to enjoy some activities in a play room or out in the ample garden. This is overseen by a qualified nursery nurse. |
LOCATION
Halcyon Days Hotel as a beautiful setting at the foot of Babadag Mountain and from there grounds the view is inspiring. The Hotel is a 50 minute transfer from Dalaman Airport. You can explore the local areas from the Hotel location in Ovacik. This can be done by walking 2 minutes to the dolmus to reach the areas of Hisaranou, Fethiye and Oludeniz. Hisaranou is a gentle 15 minute stroll. There is a great amount to see and do from visiting ancient sites, sporting activities, eating out, shopping, bars and disco’s to relaxing at the beautiful beaches or lazing by the pools. |
